Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: September 18, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every person or organization that accesses
or uses SimToNet's website, member portal, virtual phone numbers, APIs, messaging, voice,
and related services. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Core Rule
You may use SimToNet only for a lawful, authorized, transparent purpose consistent with the
use case you disclosed to us. You must comply with applicable laws, carrier and provider rules,
consent and opt-out requirements, number regulations, industry standards, and third-party rights.
You are responsible for anyone who uses the Services through your account or on your behalf.
2. Spam and Unwanted Communications
You must not:
- send unsolicited, unwanted, deceptive, or abusive calls or messages;
- send bulk communications without the legally required recipient consent;
- use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or transferred contact lists or consent;
- continue contacting a recipient after an opt-out, revocation, or do-not-contact request;
- omit legally required sender identification, disclosures, or opt-out instructions;
- spread substantially similar traffic across multiple numbers to evade filters, reputation controls, volume limits, or registration requirements; or
- use misleading spelling, formatting, links, domains, sender names, or opt-out language to bypass detection.
3. Fraud, Deception, and Impersonation
You must not use the Services to:
- commit or facilitate fraud, scams, phishing, smishing, vishing, identity theft, or social engineering;
- impersonate a person, business, government agency, carrier, financial institution, or other organization;
- falsify caller ID, sender identity, message origin, account information, identity documents, or payment information;
- obtain money, credentials, payment details, personal data, or access through deception;
- promote fake investments, fake employment, fraudulent support, advance-fee schemes, or deceptive offers; or
- hide the true user, beneficiary, sender, destination, or purpose of a communication.
4. Verification Codes, Credentials, and Third-Party Accounts
You must not:
- intercept, collect, publish, sell, or share another person's password, one-time password, multifactor-authentication code, account-recovery code, or financial authorization code;
- use a SimToNet number to create, verify, recover, or control an account that you are not authorized to own or administer;
- use the Services to bypass a third party's identity, location, eligibility, anti-fraud, promotion, or account-creation restrictions;
- operate a public or shared inbox that exposes communications or verification codes to unrelated persons; or
- use a received code or message to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, property, benefit, or service.
Receiving a message through SimToNet does not establish that you are authorized to access or
control the service or account referenced in that message.
5. Traffic Manipulation and Network Abuse
You must not:
- generate artificial, inflated, automated, repetitive, or non-genuine calls or messages;
- engage in traffic pumping, access stimulation, revenue-share fraud, toll fraud, SMS pumping, or premium-rate abuse;
- cause traffic for the purpose of generating fees, rebates, commissions, advertising revenue, or carrier payments;
- scan, probe, overload, disrupt, degrade, or attack a network, number, API, website, or service;
- use bots or automation to evade purchase, account, traffic, or security limits;
- bypass geographic permissions, filters, rate limits, suspension, or technical controls; or
- resell, sublicense, pool, transfer, or share a number, account, or API credential with an undisclosed third party.
6. Illegal, Harmful, or Rights-Violating Content
The Services must not be used for content or conduct that:
- is illegal or facilitates an illegal transaction or activity;
- threatens, exploits, harasses, stalks, intimidates, or promotes violence or discrimination;
- involves child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, or any harm to a minor;
- distributes malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious code, or harmful links;
- infringes privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- unlawfully sells or promotes controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit documents or goods, stolen property, or prohibited services;
- facilitates unlawful gambling, financial crime, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or terrorist activity; or
- violates a court order, regulatory direction, carrier requirement, or provider policy.
7. Privacy, Recording, and Surveillance
You must provide all legally required notices and obtain all legally required consent before
recording, monitoring, storing, or sharing a call, message, voicemail, or personal data. You
may not conduct unlawful surveillance, intercept communications without authority, expose
private communications publicly, or collect sensitive data without an appropriate lawful basis
and safeguards.
8. Account and Number Integrity
You must:
- provide accurate identity, contact, business, payment, end-user, and intended-use information;
- keep information and regulatory documents current;
- protect passwords, sessions, and API credentials;
- use each number only for the approved user and use case;
- promptly report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and known violations; and
- cooperate with reasonable compliance, carrier, fraud, and abuse investigations.
9. Enforcement
SimToNet may investigate suspected violations using account information, traffic patterns,
communications data, complaints, provider notices, and other relevant evidence. We may apply
warnings, traffic limits, additional verification, number quarantine, API restrictions,
immediate suspension, number removal, account termination, or denial of refunds where permitted
by law. Severe or urgent violations may be acted on without prior notice.
We may preserve and disclose relevant information to telecommunications providers, affected
parties, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required or reasonably necessary
to investigate abuse, protect safety, prevent fraud, or defend legal rights.
10. Reporting Violations
Report suspected violations according to our Report Abuse
page or email [email protected]. Include the
relevant phone number, date and time with time zone, description, supporting evidence, and a
safe contact address. Do not include passwords or full financial credentials.
11. Updates
We may update this AUP to address new laws, carrier requirements, threats, or service changes.
The updated effective date will appear on this page. Continued use after that date constitutes
acceptance of the revised AUP.
